Caring For Others

Simple Service

Simple Service is the fingerprint of North Point. We figured out a number of years ago that we were a better church family when we were serving others, than we were at any other time! So that's what we try to do, as much as possible.

Simple Service is how we connect with our community. Simple Serivce is how we serve people in need. Simple Service is how we respond to following in Jesus' footsteps.

From painting a house for a neighbor with no resources, to replacing a 20 year old roof, to partnering with agencies like Habitat for Humanity, The Advocacy and Pregnancy Center, Communities in Schools, Christian Community Action and Denton County Friends of the Family, we are constantly looking for ways to connect people with needs.

It has been our privilege to develop deep and lasting partnerships with these agencies, some for many years. Whether its collecting canned goods, helping in the Food Bank, mentoring in the public schools or providing Christmas for a family in need, we are constantly making opportunities available for our church family to serve in simple, creative and life-changing ways.

Mission Trips

Each year when other young people from around the country are spending their Spring Break in Aspen, Daytona Beach or South Padre Island, our young people are spending their week serving. Nearly every year we make the journey to Juarez, Mexico to build homes for families that are living in poverty. We also have a men's group that makes the same trip most every spring!

We have also made trips to the Gulf Coast, inner-city Memphis, the back hills of the Appalachian Mountains, and Acuna, Mexico to provide our family with opportunities to serve in similar ways.
